Labradoodles by Design: Australian Labradoodles, Nova Scotia, Labradoodle puppies
About Sue Wilde and Labradoodles by Design Exceptional Care ...Without Exception!
How does a gal that has lived and breathed German, German Shepherd dogs, trained to a Schuzthund III and didn't think a second breed would ever be an option end up with Labradoodles? They are simply adorable that’s how. I have been raising llamas for 22 years and a couple of years ago I was at a llama sale with friends and we saw our first labradoodle. I was not so convinced about breeding an expensive "cross" and thought just getting a lab and a poodle would give you the type of dog we had seen. After researching the "multi generation" Labradoodles and I fell for them as well. Labradoodles were just too appealing to resist.
I contacted Melinda Radus at Sunset Hills Labradoodles in Australia and found that it wasn’t so easy to find available pups. One day I got an email from her about Winter Rose who was supposed to go to the States but was now available, her photos were just what I had been searching for! As I was heading to Bolivia in October I had to wait until November for Rose to fly to Canada. My friend, Bev, and I drove to Calgary and picked up Rose in a snow storm. We had to stop at the Barking Lot to buy her a coat!
Beatrix joined us from Massachusetts and Susanne Goodwin's labradoolde program at Berkshire Hills Labradoodles. Bea’s sire, Baby Joey was one of the loveliest chocolate labradoodles that I had seen so Bea was a wonderful addition to our start here at Labradoodles by Design! Her two litters have been amazing chocolate beauties. We have two of her stellar daughters, Lucy Maud and Desiah, who will fill Bea's shoes one day!
The pups have livened up things! These girls just want to party! They keep me smiling and feeling like life just has to be great!
, Kathleen Kelly ( Sunsethills Sweet Sonnet) a wonderful cream girl and Sunsethills Ranger, an adorable chocolate male came from Sunset Hills in Australia. Kelly's first litter was exceptional and we have her son,Sawyer here growing up.
Ranger is busy being very busy being Mr. Personality. His hips were tested for pre lim ofa good and he looks super! He is avaialble for outside breedings.
We have recently moved from Alberta to the shores of Nova Scotia! to Liverpool, Nova Scotia on the Atlantic Ocean. The dogs love it here in the forest and the shore. We think it's a great place for puppies! 695 Shore Road, Liverpool, Nova Scotia, B0T 1K0 902-356-2655
The puppies from Beatrix and recent Autralian import, William. 8 gorgeous females and 2 handsome boys were wonderful and are in wonderful homes . Check out the puppy page! thank you to all our new labradoodle families. 3 puppies are in Ontario, 1 in Newfoundland and 6 here in Nova Scotia! so I can visit them occasionally. Bea's second litter with Kipling are in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and one in Calgary, Alberta. Kelly's puppies are in Nova Scotia and Mass. There are few Australian Labradoodle breeders from Ontario east to Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island so our pupies will fill a need for labradoodles in this part of Canada.
We are now taking applications for our two exciting spring litters! Beatrix, chocolate standards and Kelly, cream and chocolate mediums.
